Israel Netball's InterCity tournaments have become something of a tradition following the huge successes of those held in March 2009 and October 2010.

Modi'in once again hosted players from all of our netball clubs for two and a half fun-filled hours on Thursday 22 September. Some 40 participants (aged 15-60), a number of whom have only recently started playing, were split arbitrarily into five teams for a round-robin competition with matches lasting 10 minutes each, plus the final contest between the top two teams.

Thanks to Tal Segev for her usual great organising talents, to Carmi Kaplinski for being in charge of the officials table, and to all our umpires, especially those who we hope will take advantage of training that we'll be offering during the coming year J.

Looking forward to seeing all of you back on court for the 2011/2012 season's league matches which will commence on Thursday 27 October – trust me, it's going to be even more exciting than last year!

The event showed yet again that the level of netball continues to improve around the country and with so many new faces, particularly youngsters, Israel Netball can certainly look forward to many more achievements both at home and abroad.
